about

"tapetenwechsel" (German for "change of scenery") is a compilation of duo recordings made between February and May 2021, at the height of the second pandemic lockdown.

In an unusual period, spending most of our time at home, we felt the growing desire for a change of scenery, both inward and outward.
The album emerged from the urge to keep our creative outputs alive and confront ourselves with new worlds of sounds. It marks a journey through time and space, created in a time when we could only travel in our daydreams.
We hope the pleasure of listening is equal to the fun we had during the creation process, incorporating the pandemic vibe of 2020 and 2021.
